About Me
I've long been in touch with the creative spark that lives within me. For 41 years it has manifested through my career as a hairstylist. Then in 2009, I found myself wanting to explore more outlets of creativity and I enrolled in the University of Memphis. I earned a BS in Fine Art & Marketing with a concentration in painting. While not my main source of income, painting is an integral part of my passion for spreading joy through my art. Whether it's a commissioned piece of someone's pet or child or a special place, I love being able to create a painting that let's me connect with someone through something that they love.
Style
My art style is heavily influenced by the emotions of the subject I strive to capture on canvas. Each painting has a commitment to the strength of the composition and a boldness of the color palette.
